As the World Learns offers Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Heartsaver, First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) courses in the Southern Mississippi area. Healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals are provided with American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS Heartsaver, First Aid and CPR certifications and re-certifications that adhere to the latest guidelines established by the AHA. All AHA courses are taught by an AHA instructor who is a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience in the field of healthcare, including emergency medicine.
ON-SITE TRAINING OPTIONS
As the World Learns provides on-site training for businesses, hospitals and other healthcare facilities, schools, churches, day care centers, etc. We combine the AHA video-based teaching, verbal instruction, printed material and hands-on skills practice using Prestan manikins. We use Prestan manikins that have built in feedback monitors with red, yellow and green light indicators. These manikins allows students to gauge the rate and depth of their chest compressions while they practice giving CPR. We also ensure that students complete their courses in a non-judgmental, relaxed and stress-free environment.
